MY REVIEW
I needed my Emma Hart fix and Holley didn’t disappoint. She’s the perfect bookworm to give me a big dose of Rom-Com at it’s best.
Holley and Sebastian used to be best friends. On Prom night everything changed and not in a good way. Now Holley hates Seb.
Seb is a famous baseball player with an injury. He’s returning home for his sister's wedding and hoping to mend the broken bridge with Holley.
These two are hilarious and had me screaming for them to kiss already. Holley stubborn and Seb’s desperate to win her over. Let the sparks fly and give me my Hart fix.
Just what I needed. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review however I collect Emma Harts paperbacks so this will be on my shelf!

My Review
Audiobook read.
I’ve been wanting to read an L.A. Cotton book for a while and I’m so glad it didn’t disappoint. Evangeline is a cancer survivor, only she doesn’t know how to start living again. When a talent contest offers hope to making money for her family she takes a chance. What she didn’t expect was to meet Rafe Hunter.
This is the first book in a series. There is some beautiful singing in the audiobook and the romance is a slow burn.
No obligation to review however copy was free from the author. My review is honest and my own opinion.

My Review
Rise
continues Eva and Rafe's story. The quiet girl from Tennessee is going
on tour with Black Hearts Still Beat. After the Jamesboro County Talent
Show, we left Eva and Rafe in a good place, but a quick fling is
completely different from being on the road with someone. Both have
their demons to battle. Both avoiding the truth.
Eva is a cancer survivor and in Rise we see her coming out of her shell and finding a way to start living again.
Rafe always puts his brother first. He doesn't need Eva clouding his thoughts.
Maybe Country can be good for rock. Maybe Eva can mend more than one heart?
I really enjoyed this. It has rock star quality and a good backstory. The chemistry between Eva and Rafe is what drives the story, but their relationship with his brother is what keeps you guessing.
The first instalment I listened to the audiobook but this was equally as good to read the words.

My Review
I
love the Black Heart Still Beat world. Rule is the third book in the
series and it’s continuous so you have to read the other two books
first.
Rafe is really to take a leap of faith. It’s all for her. Eva is different and worth risking everything. Can he convince her to re join the tour and can they convince his brother that this can work?
This isn’t a love triangle book in the sense there is a choice but it’s a messy family relationship. Levi is out of control. Rafe has always put him first but now Eva is more important. Can she keep the boys together?
There is another book after this and Rule will leave you wanting more.
The couple are strong but this is still an emotional read. Can they have it all or will Levi ruin everything.
This is a great rockstar world to get lost in.

My Review
Levi Is the bad boy you
shouldn’t fall for. After scandal breaks out about his latest behaviour,
Levi does what he does best. Losing himself in drugs and booze is his
way of coping. The band needs him and not the bad press he brings them.
When a new intern offers him a new kind of addiction can Levi finally
start living for the future instead of dwelling in the past?
Phoebe needs the intern job and knows she should keep it professional. She knows the stories and is aware Levi is self destructive. When she rejects him, she see the mess it causes, but that isn’t a reason to say yes to Levi.
This is book four in the Black Heart still beats series. The first three books are focused on Rafe, Levi’s brother. We know Levi is in a bad place, but can Phoebe finally pull him out or is she destined for heartache?
