Burn (Dark in You #1)
Suzanne Wright
Book Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Suzanne Wright writes the
best shifter romance novels without a doubt and I was really excited to
read something different from her. I was so pleased she did not
disappoint. This book is worth the full 5 stars hands down, not only did
she create a new paranormal romance but also a community demon world. I
would recommend any of her books as they are all amazing and suck you
in right from the start. This is why Suzanne Wright is one of my
favourite authors.
Burn is a dark romance showing love conquers all. Harper Wallis is a tattooist working in Las Vegas. She is independent and strong willed. She is part of a small demon lair led by her grandmother. After stepping in to help a friend in need Harper finds herself stood in front of the sexily dangerous Knox Thorne. Harper isn’t stupid enough to not fear him but that doesn’t mean she is going to be a push over, that is not the Wallis way. It becomes apparent to both Knox and Harper that they are more to each other than just a bit of lustful eye candy. Every demon has an anchor and it is just that, someone that grounds their demons and keeps them stable. Harper understands Knox is her anchor but what if she doesn’t want to bond. Knox has to convince her she is safe with him. He needs to show his loyalty. He wants Harper not only as his anchor but also as his latest lover. He doesn’t delude her, he knows his demon gets bored easy but maybe this quick tongued, sassy sapphire maybe just what his demon has been looking for.
Along with the romance in this book a whole new world of demons is created. I couldn’t put this book down and sucks you into a whole new world. This book can be read as a standalone and it has no cliff-hangers however book 2 is out on the 1st September 2016 continuing Harpers/Knox Story.
5 stars out of 5. I would recommend to all fantasy paranormal readers.
