Going down in flames is a teen read about a girl who discovers she is a Shifter-Dragon. Bryn is on her way home from school when she notices someone following her. Her eyes are open to new possibilities. Her family are outcasts but that doesn't mean she won't be sucked into the shifter world. All dragons have to attend a special school to help them develop their talents.

Dragon-shifters live by the rules of the Directorate. They get the job they are influenced to study. They marry a dragon of the same breed and stature. Bryn is the exception to the rule. Her parents ran away together. She is both a blue and red dragon. She has abilities she shouldn't. Bryn isn't going to have an easy ride. People are mean and she doesn't fit. With the help of some friends, she has to find her place. Dragons are known to have tempers and this makes a fiery read. The story fits perfectly for the teen audience.

This book is the start of a series. It's a complete story but will leave you with questions. Luckily there are another 4 books to sink your teeth into. Book 5- Burning Bright is due out on 4th June 2018.
