Brooke has one of those personalities you'll either love or hate. She is coasting through life without a clue. Luckily she has just gained the courage to move out on her own. She's totally head over heels in love with her best friend Cain, unfortunately, she doesn't have the courage to put herself out there. Emma Hart is good at comedy and this book made me smile a lot. Brooke is also frustrating and a pain in the butt. Luckily she loveable and can laugh at her misfortunes. This is a friend to more romance. It's slow paced but full of witty banter. 

Cain is perfect in Brooke's eyes. She's been in love with him for more of their friendship. He has a girlfriend at the moment but she's totally wrong for him. Brooke isn't willing to admit she has a problem when it comes to Cain. In fact, she would rather go on a non-starter first date. It's going to take a miracle to get these two on the same page. Luckily Cain knows Brooke better than anyone. 

This is a fun sassy read. 4.5 stars out of 5. This was a Freebie on Amazon for a limited time. This is my second book by this author and I like her style. The women aren't perfect but not airheads. I think there is a fine line between funny and too much. Emma Hart walks the tightrope well for me.
