I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but I have to say this one is just so pretty.

This is a fantasy novel about a girl with a strict father who is waiting for her to grow into her supernatural power. Her father is willing to try anything to speed up the process whatever the cost. As a child you are lead to believe your parents know best but what if they are wrong? What if everything you were lead to believe was a lie. 

Em has always had interests outside the paranormal community you could even say they are mundane but her father wants her to focus. He wants her to follow a strict path and Em is just not that kind of girl. As she looks outside the box she begins to see the small cracks.

I would recommend this book to fans of fantasy novels such as Hunger games, Divergent and The girl in the box.

This book includes adventure, romances, fantasy, action and magic.

I would rate this book 4.5* out of 5.
