Enigma (Schrodinger's Consortium #2)
Tonya Kuper
Synopsis ❤
Worst. Road Trip. Ever.
Escaping with Reid Wentworth should have been fun, but how can I enjoy it when I just (accidentally) killed someone, my mom and brother are in danger, and the Consortium is trying to enslave humanity? (Yeah, they aren’t fooling around.) So feeling something for Reid Wentworth was not part of the plan. Trying to help unite the Resistance against the Consortium means I can’t be distracted by hot boys.
The Resistance secret hideout isn’t exactly the rebel base of my dreams. A traitor there wants me dead, but we have no idea who it is. And with both the Resistance and the Consortium trying to control me, the only one I can trust is Reid. If we’re going to have any chance of protecting my family, controlling my unstable powers, and surviving the clash between the Oculi factions, I’m going to have to catch this traitor. By using myself as bait.
Book Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Enigma is the second, and final instalment in the Schrodinger's Consortium series.
Josie and Reid are escaping on a road trip. Reid's main priority is to keep Josie safe, but decisions need to be made to keep her family, and others of their kind safe too. They choose to try and catch the hole (The inside man). It's going to be dangerous, but it needs to be done.
Just like book one, there is action, fantasy, romance, and a little sci-fi.
Josie and Reid's relationship needs to be on the low down but is heating up quickly.
Another interesting read, which concludes the story. I would recommend it for fans of sci-fi fantasy like The Tomorrow People, and Divergent.
Enigma can be read as a standalone (It contains catch-up information) however, I would highly recommend you start with Anomaly.
4 stars out of 5.

Question One: What was your inspiration for this series? I was actually approached by my agent to write a synopsis and first chapter of a dual point-of-view YA based on Scrodinger’s cat theory experiment. Entangled Teen wanted a scifi with those stipulations. They liked what I did enough to land a book deal.
Question two: Josie is a huge fan of sci-fi. Is she someone you can relate to personally? HA! Yes and no. Unlike me, Josie is a total brainiac, but we both share a love of scifi. Her affection for all things Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and so on? Yeah, that’s me.
Question three: What was your favourite part of writing this series? I LOVED writing the relationship between Josie and Reid – the tension, the flirting, the kissing. I’m a hopeless romantic.
Question four: If you could sum up Enigma in 5 words what would they be? Mysterious, emotional, sexy, romantic, action.
Question five: Can we expect more books in this genre in the future? This series was unique in that it was a scifi set in our contemporary world and not the future – and I adored writing that. I’m a scifi-fantasy girl at heart, so I will definitely write more in those genres.
Thank you so much!! xo Tonya
OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES:

Tonya Kuper is the author of ANOMALY, the first in the Schrodinger's Consortium Series, a young adult science fiction trilogy, released November 4, 2014 by Entangled Teen. She fell for Young Adult lit while earning her Masters degree in Reading Education. She's a mom to two awesome boys, an alt music junkie, a Star Wars nerd, and in love with Sherlock.
