Worth the wait. Hard place was good but the sequel Hard truth was excellent. This is a continuous story and the books need to be read in order. Both are available on Kindle Unlimited. I haven’t found an Emily Goodwin book I didn’t like yet. They have everything I’m looking for; great dialogue, lovable characters and a storyline that has you sucked in.Harper and Alex start as an office romance in the first book. She’s a single mum and he’s a rich overconfident pain in the behind. At the end of book one with have a cliffhanger which changes the dynamics for book two.
Micheal, Harper’s baby daddy is everything she thought she ever wanted. He’s just found out he’s a father and wants the family he never knew he had.
Alex is working through his emotions trying to deal with the fact he could lose the only woman he ever loved.
Harper has two perfect men and one very strange stalker. Her life is up in the air. The hard truth will set her free.
This book was my favourite so far by this author. It had me smiling, screaming and completely sucked in. I loved it. 5 out of 5.
