MY REVIEW:
The
sequel to Haven. I was absolutely in love with the first book so when
this was announced I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. This is a
continuous story and the first book needs to be read to fully appreciate
this story.
So Freddie got her man and all was looking well by
the end of Haven but being an alpha means life’s never that simple. When
a familiar face turns up Freddie can smell trouble.
Rain is new
to the shifter/ magic community and he makes a good narrative guide for
us to understand this new world. There are some great concepts and
twists I didn’t see coming.
I really enjoyed this new world. I’d
recommend reading the two books close together as my memory was a
little foggy in parts (I read the first book about a year ago).
This is a new adventure with the gritty storyline you’d expect from this series.
