How to get free books

The simple answer to this is to start reviewing them. The Goodreads website is one of my favorites. It is a place where you can keep a record of the books you have read and want to read. Once you have it up and running it will also recommend things it thinks you will like. There are forums for Authors and Reviewers to meet. Even better you can join forums which suit the kind of books you would like to read. There aren't any rules when it comes to reviewing books so the world is your own. (It is recommend you write that you received the book in exchange for a honest review). If you are going to join Goodreads feel free to add me as a friend :)

If you start to enjoy reviewing books and discussing them with others your next step is to start your own blogg (which you can do for free).

 

Netgalley is a website dedicated to finding reviews for books. They ideally want you to have your own blog and grow your empire of followers. 

 

Amazon Kindle has free books on them. Sometimes books are free for a short while. There is also Kindle Unlimited which if you read as much as me you will definitely get your moneys worth. I have found quite a few good books this way. 

 

Once you have started reviewing books you will find some Authors/ Publishers will start sending you books to review. It is always nice to connect with an Author especially if you become a fan of their work. 

 

Signing up to Authors mailing list will also give you opportunities. Including ARC, advanced reading copies of books for reviews.
