Revenge

Revenge (The Chronicles of the Eylones Book 1)

This book was refreshing, unpredictable and definitely worth the read. I have read a lot of romance books lately and as you know the girl always gets the guy. This book was a stimulating change of pace and kept me guessing right to the end. It is free for Kindle Unlimited readers so if you are a subscriber you have nothing to lose if not it is £1.37 which is also pretty good.

Violet was taken away from her family while still in her teens. The person who took her was an alluring vampire who was intoxicatingly beautiful. He promised her that he would fulfil her deepest desires but sometimes love can be like poison ivy. It is not obvious to Violet that her love for Ewan is tainted but luckily for her someone is about to show her the errors of her ways.

This is a world of vampire and their hunters. Violet has to swap sides to truly understand the extent of the evil world she has been brought into and what she sees is a cold serving of revenge.
I don’t want to give too much away about this book because I loved the twists and turns therefore that’s all I’m willing to share. This book is nice and long so you can sink your teeth into it.
I love the artwork for this book. This can be read as a standalone novel however I think it is going to be part of a series. It is a full length story with no cliff-hanger.

4.5 star out of 5.
