This is both books in one; leaving paradise and return to paradise.
*I would recommend you have both copies of these books before you start reading* I personally could not put it down and the end of the first book needs the second unless you like torturing yourself.
Maggie gets hit by a car and ends up in hospital.
Caleb goes to jail for drink driving. He hits Maggie with her car and damages her leg.
They both end up back in their small town but nothing's the same. No one understands. They are both alone and are drawn to each other because the other person is the only one who understands. This is captivating right from the start and held my heart in my hand. Loved it.
I'm a huge fan of Simone Elkeles and would recommend all of her books. I could literally live in her books
