This book was very interesting I'm not quite sure what genre I would characterise it as. It's not light-heart. I would say it's closer to the dark side however it has a bit of everything, and it's not scary. It's a story of finding your way in the world and seeing your inner beauty. I was hoping for the Disney fantasy ending, but I guess I don't live in the real world. This book does have the happy ever after and a good moral fibre.

Rebekah has a perfect life. The beautiful face, the rich spoilt family and the mean girl personality to match. In one day her life changed forever. She lost everything including her beauty. Now it's time to start living and discovering there is more to life than plastic.

I loved the quotes at the beginning of every chapter.

This is the second book in the Suttonville Sentinels series. It can be read as a standalone. However, I would recommend you read book one first because I loved it (but it's not essential). The characters; Kyle and Faith from book one (The Bad Boy Bargain) feature in this story.

The series is about Baseball players meeting their perfect ballerinas. It's set in high school, and it is intended for the sweet 16 audiences (U.K.). There is high school drama which the older audience may find a little immature.

Tristan is an Outfielder and is afraid he is losing his touch. He needs to work on the problem and hit some balls pronto. Tristan goes to Swing Away hoping to find a secluded place to practice. What he finds is the answer to his problem. He meets the girl of his dreams, but after their first date, he realises he might not be the only one who has noticed her. Que high school drama. This story is a one man love story no love triangle.

Alyssa has her own problems, and Tristan is the perfect solution.

I don't want to give too much away, so that's as much as I'm saying.

4.5 stars out of 5. This series is full of potential, and I look forward to reading the next one.

Book number 5 is here at last. I love this series. They can all be read as standalone stories, but they are available on Kindle Unlimited.

Raven Swann can find anyone's perfect match even if you don't want her help or even realise you need to find a partner. She makes the impossible happen. This is another original creative idea from Rocklyn Ryder.

Mariah wants her dad to find someone. She's a teenager now and wants her own space. She wants to hire Raven Swann to help her to get him the perfect woman, but she doesn't want her dad to find out.

 I loved this book until about 80%. I don't do spoilers so I can't explain but let's just say everything gets out of control and I was struggling to finish the story. This book can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the previous book, and it did not affect the story.

Alex has caught a catfish (like the MTV show). She went to meet the man of her dreams to find out he didn't know her at all. Even worse he's nothing like the person she thought he was. Joe Eric's brother is the catfish. He doesn't look anything like his brother. Alex is super pissed he lied to her, and she didn't want to forgive, but she needs his help. Can they be friends? The more she gets to know him the more she realises you shouldn't judge someone by their appearance. He may not be her usual type, but she can see the appeal.

4 stars out of 5. The first 80% was 5 stars worthy, but the rest just didn't do it for me. This book has a happy ever after ending.

The year of 4 is a good start to an action-packed fantasy shapeshifter series. It has a bit of everything romance, mystery, laughable moments and creativity. Plus the title makes sense which is always a bonus to me. I enjoyed reading this book.

Phoebe Pope is starting her studying at Green Lane Academy. The campus is split into two with the mundane being the place everybody sees but underneath is a whole different story. A place for shapeshifter's to train as spies. Phoebe has classes in both and leads a double life during her training. She has her own issues to deal with, but with danger brewing, Phoebe has to be alert with every step. Her love interest Colten seems too good to be true and maybe hiding secrets all of his own. I don't want to give too much away so I'll stop there but this book has so much more to offer.

It would be easier if you can sit down and read this in uninterrupted chunks as there is a lot to digest. This is the start of a series of books which I'd love to read more.

 I'm loving this series. I like the way all the characters interlink stories through the books. I must admit I've read them out of order, but it doesn't matter. They can all be read as standalone novels.

Racing Savannah is based around horse racing. It is a romance novel, but I wouldn't say that's the main theme. It's about ambition and aiming for the sky. If you want something badly enough with a little hard work, anything is possible.

Savannah grew up with hardly any money. Her parents didn't finish high school and had limited prospects. Unfortunately, her mum died and left them with big medical bills. Her dad's girlfriend is expecting a baby, and Savannah doesn't want her to have the poor upbringing she had. They move to hundred oaks for a new job and Savannah starts to see the possibilities for her own future.

Jack lives in an estate house and is running the family business for the year. They are from different worlds, but Savannah might be the one that saves Jack. They know they should keep their relationship platonic it's better for business
And they both want it to work out with the horses.

I really enjoyed this book, and it wasn't because of the romance not that it was bad or anything. I just felt Savannah's self-development meant it didn't matter whether she ended up with Jack because she was going places anyway. She's independent and ready to aim big.

Between a Wolf and a hard place is part of a bigger series of books, however, can be read as a standalone. It just means you have more to digest at the beginning, but I managed just fine. This is the first book I have read by Terry Spear, and it was an interesting read. Paranormal fantasy romance which is so much more than just a shapeshifter mating story.

Ellie is a beautiful wolf with a special gift. She will only date guys who accept her talent. She's had problems in the past and doesn't want to make the same mistake again. Brett is her potential mate, and Ellie needs to tell him about her ghost whispering before things become too heated.

Brett wants Ellie more than anything. He knows she's special but hasn't yet found out just how talented she is.

A ghost wants Ellie's help, and Brett is a relative. It's linked to an old piano delivered to the inn Ellie owns with her sisters. The family heirloom belongs to Brett's great aunt, and she wants them to solve a mystery.
