Prince of Hearts
(Verona Legacy #1)
by
The devil you know isn’t
always better. Prince of hearts is the first instalment of a duo. It’s
inspired by Romeo and Juliet in a creative tale of love and war.
Arianne Capizola is the daughter of a powerful man. She’s lived a sheltered life. When she’s allowed the freedom to study at Montague university the cracks in her family life begin to appear. Her identity is kept a secret but her cousin Tristan is close by if she needs him. Unfortunately Tristan’s best friend is a family friend and interested in Arianne. Scott isn’t the type of man she would choose but after some persuasion she agrees to go on a date with him. When things go terribly wrong she’s in need of a Prince.
Niccolo Marchetti is not a good man. He’s grown-up inside the mafia and a prince of dominion. When he finds a damsel in distress he should walk away. Niccolo and Arianne have a connection but what happens when he finds out who she really is?
I really enjoyed this dark romance. I like the Shakespeare references and the twisted story path. This does have scenes (not graphic) which some readers may find disturbing but it adds fuel to the hate. I look forward to reading the concluding part.
*I received an ARC in waiting for the tour which will commence for book two in August.
