Into the Mists #Seven Wardens series #Audio #Review

From The Deeps

(Seven Wardens #1)

Who knows what ascends from the Deeps...

Macey is really quite ordinary, if you ignore that she's a kelpie princess living on land. Still, her life is boring until she gets kidnapped by a man who doesn't quite know why he kidnapped her. Try and figure that one out.
Thankfully, he and his two companions are prepared to help her find out why she can't return to Earth from their house in the Mists. Now the only problem is that Macey keeps getting distracted by the three mysterious and very sexy men...
A reverse harem romance drenched in Scottish mythology.

Into the Mists

(Seven Wardens #2)

A kelpie, an incubus and two wraiths walk into a bar...

Things were going so well until Macey got kidnapped. Again. Except this time, the kidnapper knows exactly why he has her, and none of his plans are good news.
She could wait for her men to save her, but then again, she's not the kind of Princess who needs a Prince to save the day.
A reverse harem (still) drenched in

Into the mists is the second book in The wardens series. There are 7 full-length books in total and a couple of spin-offs. This is a reverse harem relationship scenario. Our main character is Macey a princess kelpie. At the end of the last book (From the deeps), Macey has been kidnapped by the enemy which means she’s found a warden but lost her men.

The group need to reunite and figure out how to fulfil their destiny. The story is based around Scottish mythology. It’s a fantasy adventure story with romance including incubus and two wraiths. Each warden is special in their own way.

Into the mists gives us a clue of the types of enemies the series will concur. We have new and old characters along with new relationship dynamics. In this instalment, the romance isn’t a focus of the journey.

I really like this series so far Angus Yellowlees offers a range of voices and reads the story well. This is a continuous story and needs to be read in order.

*Into the Mists contains Adult content.

*I received an ARC of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I also have a copy of the 1-4 boxset and a paperback copy of this novel.
