| Absolutely loved this audiobook. It’s probably the best one I’ve listened to. The story had me hooked and I didn’t want to put it down. The story is more than a romance. I liked the world created around the characters. I’ll be honest, if I’d of known the details of the story before I began I’m not sure I would have picked this book to read. The execution of the story is what made it good for me. Highly recommend. Sam is broken. With the loss of her father and an unhappy home, she’s struggling to move on with her life. Her relationship with her stepmother is unhealthy but the only thing she has. Riley’s father has passed recently and he’s returning to his home town. When he left he didn’t realise how bad Sams life has spiralled. Although the turns in events put these too on uncomfortable ground. To make a future both need to overcome their demons. This is a second chance romance. It’s set in a cowboy town. It deals with difficult topics. The romance is about more than attraction. 5 out of 5. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. |
