Clover Cottage
(Love Heart Lane #3)
by Christine Barlow has the kind of writing style that sucks you in and makes you want to be part of the world she’s built. The chance to be part of her Scottish town has me envious. Just like the last book of hers I read I’m a little confused which genre it fits into. It’s about a relationship which has hit a bump in the road.Rory and Allie are an established couple. He’s a vet for the family business. When his parents offer him Clover cottage, Allie thinks she’s finally getting her happily-ever-after, but Rory feels he’s being pushed into his future. He wants to make his own decisions on his own terms. He isn’t ready to settle down even though he loves Allie. Now he must decide if travelling along a once upon a time dream is worth more than the love for his women.
Can the drama against a picturesque setting help the couple find their way forward?
The town, friends and family will suck you in. More could be going on with Rorys parents than he originally thought and someone new in town may shake things up.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
